Sometimes good ideas don’t always make it to fruition. This is one of them by Félix Ajenjo from Madrid. A cool looking illustration for a web project that never made it to the finish line.

Sometimes in the quest for coffee by those who love it, people are inspired to create things to make coffee more convenient. But they sometimes lose sight of just how simple it is to make a good cup of coffee. Concept’s like the above, by designer Heo Jeong Im, seem to illustrate how short sighted a good intentioned idea can be.

Sure the coffee stick may look cool, but what’s the environmental impact from an object like this? And who want’s an instant cappuccino? Without foam, can it even be considered one by definition? What do you think, great idea or what a waste?
